Owl: Being Led Through the Dark

The owl in dream symbology represents seeing or being led through the dark.

Often in these metaphysical quests I’ve taken over the years, an owl will show up in my environment to remind me that this part of myself is leading me through the unclear terrain, exactly what I was exploring; what I came on this journey to bring to light, or what the Seer Almine refers to as “turning the unknown into the known through experience”.

Even though the owl repeatedly showed up in my environment, in France, finding this painting by a child in a notebook left on the Mediterranean Sea held great significance for our journey.

It not only referenced the shamanic symbol of seeing through the dark but also the inner child, the embodiment of the magical perspective.

And it being a work of art ( expressing the masculine and feminine in oneness) referred to the 3 primary alchemical potencies of light (colors) that relate to the physical body, soul, and spirit.
